It is used to create a joint-free waterproof barrier on vertical and horizontal non-deflecting surfaces: foundations, underground floors, facades, pedestals, terraces, balconies, treatment tanks (including those with potable water), pools, wells, and also premises with high humidity (kitchens, bathrooms, etc.)
- High vapor permeability - does not interfere with the release of water vapor
- Creates a joint-free waterproof barrier - reliable protection of structures
- Crack resistant - maintains the integrity of the waterproofing covering
- High mortar plasticity - easy to apply with a brush or putty spattle
- Can be applied on moist (not wet) lower stratums
- Environmentally friendly and nonhazardous material
- Contact with potable water is allowed (expert analysis No. 1502/2015 dated 08/26/2015 issued by the Federal State-Funded Budgetary Public Health Facility “Head Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency”)
- Complies with DIN EN 12390-8-2009
RECOMMENDED LOWER STRATUMS
Concrete, stone and brick surfaces, autoclaved lightweight concrete and porous concrete, asbestos-cement boards, moisture-resistant gypsum boards, floors and plasters on gypsum and cement binders.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The lower stratum surface must be durable, free from dust, dirt, paint and grease stains. Dry, highly absorbent lower stratums must be treated with GLIMS® PrimeГрунт or moistened with water using a brush or a roller. Preliminarily point up joints and cracks (not less than 20x20 mm) and fill with repair composition. In the presence of deep defects or roughnesses, level the surface using GLIMS® Tweed extra-strong plaster (minimum layer thickness is 10 mm) and/or GLIMS® StyroПрайм, GLIMS®Stukko-RF stopping fillers. On the outer corners make chamfers at an angle of 45°, on the internal corners make a fillet with a radius of at least 20 mm. Eliminate open leaks with GLIMS® ГидроПломба material. When applying and hardening the finishing mortar the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment should not be lower than +5 ° C. Operation temperature range is from -50 to +70 ° С. While working it is necessary to observe the norms of SNiP and industrial hygiene.
MORTAR PREPARATION
Gradually pour the dry mix into a reservoir with clean water at a rate of 0.33-0.34 l of water per 1 kg of dry mix (5,9-6 l per bag of 18kg) and mix thoroughly with a mixer machine to even consistency. Keep the mortar for 8-10 minutes and mix it once more. The mortar is in working order for 4 hours after mixing. If during this time the mortar thickens in the reservoir, it is necessary to “revive” it by mixing without adding of water.
APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS
The mortar should be applied to the prepared surface, not less than in 2 layers, with a wide brush (preferably with a finishing brush) or a putty spattle layer by layer of 2-3 mm with intermediate drying of each layer for 24 hours. Use GLIMS Corner waterproof tape for corners and joints treating. To increase the adhesion of the subsequent layer, it is necessary to moisten the previous one. Each subsequent layer is applied perpendicular to the previous one. After the last layer drying-out abundantly wet its surface with water in order to reveal possible coating defects and complete the material setting process.
CONSUMPTION
1.4 kg of dry mix per 1 m2 with a layer thickness of 1 mm.
PACKAGING
kraft paper bags 18 kg (net); plastic bags of 5 kg.
PRODUCT DISPOSAL
Dry mortar and hardened material must be disposed as building waste. It is forbidden to throw materials into the sanitary piping. The kraft paper bag and the plastic bag should be disposed as household garbage.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
During transportation and storage, bags with dry mortar should be protected from damage and soaking. Store in a dry premise. The storage period is 12 months. Dry cement waterproof mortar mix М120, D1500, GOST 28013-98 Radiation safety class - 1. TU 5745-010-40397319-2003 № 0430/1
