Rapid-hardening non-shrink poured floor for dry premises and premises with moderate humidity. Manual or mechanical application.
ADVANTAGES
- Rapid-hardening
- Can be used without joint displacement indicators
- Creates a smooth lower stratum
- Does not require the finish poured floor application
- Material is easy-to-handle
- "Heat-insulated floor" system
SURFACE PREPARATION
It is applied on concrete, cement and gypsum screed coats. The surface must be dry, durable, free from dust, dirt, paint and grease stains. It is recommended to seal all through-wall trenches and openings present on the surface of the lower stratum; treat the cleared surface with a primer GLIMS®PrimeГрунт or GLIMS®DeepPrimeГрунт by means of a brush or a roller. Treat lower stratums that pick up moisture highly twice then wait for complete drying out. At possible moisture ingress from the lower stratum it is recommended to perform additional waterproofing with GLIMS®ВодоStop or GLIMS® GreenResin, GLIMS®GreyResin materials before starting work. GLIMS®S-Line should be poured 3 days after waterproofing application. At application and solidification of GLIMS®S-Line the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment must not be lower than +5°C.
MORTAR PREPARATION
Pour the dry mix into a reservoir with clean water at a rate of 0.33-0.35 l of water per 1 kg of dry mix (6,6-7,0 l per bag of 20 kg) and mix thoroughly with a mixer machine to even consistency. Keep the mortar for 2-3 minutes and then mix it once more. The mortar is in working order for 25-30 minutes after tempering.
TECHNOLOGY OF WORK EXECUTION
The mortar is evenly poured on the floor surface until a predetermined level (joint displacement indicators are removed) and then the mortar is additionally distributed with a poured mix spreader. During pouring it is possible to walk on the mortar in bauchles or rubber boots for 20 minutes from the time of the mortar preparation. It is necessary to ensure the continuity of the process of the floor pouring at least within one room. In other cases the surface is divided into several sections, the mould is arranged, the prepared section is poured, the mortar sets (not less than 3-4 hours), the mould is rearranged and the next section is poured. With large differences in the poured sub-floor within the same room (poured area) the work should be carried out in two stages: I - filling deep roughnesses and technological drying; II - continuous pouring of the section. Within 2 days from the beginning of the work execution it is necessary to avoid drafts and severe changes in air temperature. Further works can only be performed after the floor complete drying out (with a layer thickness of up to 5 mm - after 2 days, for 5-7 mm - after 3 days, for 7-10 mm - after 5 days, for 10-15 mm - after 7 days, for 10-30 mm - after10 days, at 20°C and relative humidity of 50%).
Additional recommendation: before ceramic tiles laying in kitchens treat the GLIMS®S-Line floor surface with GLIMS® GreenResin, GLIMS® GrayResin or GLIMS®ВодоStop waterproofing materials. At use of GLIMS®S-Line in the "heat-insulated floor" system the lower stratum preparation, the mortar preparation and works execution technology do not change). With electric floor heating the application thickness of GLIMS®S-Line is at least 10 mm from the upper section of the system cable. With water floor heating the application thickness is at least 15 mm from the upper section of the system pipe. For thick-layered application of the self- aligning floor GLIMS®S-Line due to its high fluidity the layer-by-layer work execution is recommended. At layer-by-layer application the thickness of the first layer should overlap at least 50% of the thickness of the cable or floor heating pipe and at least 5 mm (minimum application thickness) of the poured floor. The material is environmentally friendly in use and operation. Operation temperature range is from -50 to +70 ° С. While working it is necessary to observe the norms of SNiP and industrial hygiene.
