Water-resistant poured floor for primary leveling in dry premises and premises with moderate humidity
ADVANTAGES
- Rapid-hardening
- Excellently flows back, becomes even and does not shrink
- Creates an even and strong base on which modern finish coverings are easily laid
- It can be poured with a layer of 2 cm or more onto a wooden lower stratum, preliminarily it is necessary to coat it with polyethylene film extending to walls
- Can be used without joint displacement indicators
- "Heat-insulated floor" system
- Complies with European standards EN 13813 Class C20F7B2,0
SURFACE PREPARATION
It is applied on concrete, cement screed coats. The surface must be dry, durable, free from dust, dirt, paint and grease stains. It is recommended to seal all through-wall trenches and openings present on the surface of the lower stratum; treat the cleared surface with a primer GLIMS®PrimeГрунт by means of a brush or the roller. Lower stratums that pick up moisture highly are treated twice. Wait for complete drying out. At possible moisture ingress from the lower stratum it is recommended to perform additional waterproofing with GLIMS®ВодоStop or GLIMS® GreenResin materials before starting work. The mortar mix should be poured 3 days after waterproofing application. At application and solidification of the poured floor the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment must not be lower than +5 ° C. The material is environmentally friendly in use and operation. Operation temperature range is from -50 to +70 ° С. While working it is necessary to observe the norms of SNiP and industrial hygiene.
MORTAR PREPARATION
Pour the package contents into a reservoir with clean water at a rate of 0.24 l of water per 1 kg of dry mix (4,8 l per bag of 25 kg) and mix thoroughly with a mixer machine to even consistency. Keep the mortar for 2-3 minutes and then mix it once more. The mortar is in working order for 25-30 minutes after tempering.
TECHNOLOGY OF WORK EXECUTION
The mortar is evenly poured on the floor surface until a predetermined level is reached (joint displacement indicators are removed) and then the mortar is additionally distributed with a needle roller for the poured mortar mix. During pouring it is possible to walk on the mortar in bauchles or rubber boots for 20 minutes from the time of the mortar preparation. It is necessary to ensure the continuity of the process of the floor pouring at least within one room. In other cases the surface is divided into several sections, the mould is arranged, the prepared section is poured, the mortar sets (not less than 3-4 hours), the mould is rearranged and the next section is poured. With large differences in the poured sub-floor within the same room (poured area) the work should be carried out in two stages: I - filling deep roughnesses and technological drying; II - continuous pouring of the section. Within 2 days from the work execution it is necessary to avoid drafts and severe changes in air temperature. Further works can only be performed after the floor complete drying out (with a layer thickness of up to 5 mm - after 2 days, for 5-7 mm - after 3 days, for 7-10 mm - after 5 days, for 10-15 mm - after 7 days, for 10-30 mm - after10 days, at 20°C and relative humidity of 50%). If the waterproofing work in the kitchen and the bathroom has not been completed or performed but improperly, before laying of ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, mosaics it is recommended to treat the surface of water-resistant GLIMS®S-Base + with waterproofing materials GLIMS®ВодоStop or GLIMS®GreenResin. If the waterproofing work in the kitchen and the bathroom has been completed and there is confidence in the quality of the work performed, before laying of ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, mosaics it is not necessary to treat the surface of water-resistant GLIMS®S-Base + with waterproofing materials GLIMS®ВодоStop or GLIMS®GreenResin.
