Two-component elastic composition for formation of a joint-free waterproof barrier on vertical and horizontal surfaces subject to deformation: pools, water tanks, sewage facilities, desilt basins, canals, offshore structures (piers), construction of traffic facilities (concrete supports, beams, tunnels, bridges, road and rail-over-road bridges), chimney coolers, mines, revetment walls and foundations.
- High elasticity - bridges cracks with opening up to 4 mm
- Creates a joint-free waterproof barrier
- Can be applied on moist (not wet) lower stratums
- Does not cause corrosion of concrete and metal
- Is used at constant contact with water
- Sulfate-resistant
- High adhesion
- Non-shrink - preserves the integrity of the waterproofing coating
- High mortar plasticity - easy to apply with a brush or putty spattle
- Freeze-thaw resistant, weather-resistant
- Environmentally friendly and nonhazardous material
RECOMMENDED LOWER STRATUMS
Site concrete, precast structures, masonry constructions and brick walls, LWC structures, gypsum plasterboard (including moisture resistant), all-weather plywood, floors and plasters on gypsum or cement binders, metal, and ceramic tiles.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The lower stratum surface must be durable and clean. Manually or mechanically remove loose layers, cement slurry, dust, dirt, paint, grease stains and concrete form oil from the lower stratum. Dry, highly absorbent lower stratums must be treated with GLIMS®HydroPrimer or moistened with water using a brush, roller or spray diffuser. Preliminarily point up joints and cracks (not less than 20x20 mm) and fill with GLIMS®PRO WP CEM Slot. In the presence of deep defects or roughnesses, level the surface using GLIMS® Tweed extra-strong plaster (layer thickness not less than 5 mm) and/or GLIMS® StyroПрайм, stopping filler. On the outer corners make chamfers at an angle of 45°, on the internal corners make a fillet with a radius of at least 20 mm. Eliminate open leaks with GLIMS® ГидроПломба material. When applying and hardening the material the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment should not be lower than +5 ° C. Operation temperature range is from -50 to +70 ° С. While working it is necessary to observe the norms of SNiP and industrial hygiene.
MORTAR PREPARATION
Pour component B (elasticator 9.5 kg/can) into a clean reservoir and gradually pour component A (dry mix 25 kg/bag) and mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer machine to even consistency without fisheyes. Keep the mortar for 8-10 minutes and mix it once more. The mortar is in working order for 1 hour after mixing.
APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS
The mortar should be applied to the prepared surface, not less than in 2 layers, with a wide brush (a finishing brush) or a putty spattle in layer of 1-2 mm with intermediate drying of each layer for 3 hours. Use GLIMS® Corner waterproof tape for corners and joints treating. Each subsequent layer is applied perpendicular to the previous one. Subsequent construction work can be carried out after 24 hours. At repair or restoration of an old waterproofing it is necessary to make sure that its adhesion to the lower stratum is reliable. Cracks up to 2 mm can be repaired without the use of fiberglass mesh, and in the presence of cracks up to 4 mm it is necessary to use a mesh with a cell 4*4 mm and density of at least 130 g/m2.
CONSUMPTION
1.6 kg of mixture per 1 m² with a layer thickness of 1 mm
