SURFACE PREPARATION
The mortar is applied to durable, stable, dry, dust free lower stratums. The lower stratum solidification process must be completed. Before applying it is forbidden to cover the surface with drying oil, soap, etc.! When applying and hardening the finishing mortar the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment should not be lower than +5 ° C. It is recommended to remove highly absorbent, dusty and loose layers from the surface. Treat the surface with a deep penetration ground coat GLIMS®PrimeГрунт. Lower stratums with differences of more than 3 mm are recommended to be preliminarily leveled with GLIMS®Tweed plaster or with extra-strong GLIMS®Stukko-RF or GLIMS®StyroПрайм paste fillers.
MORTAR PREPARATION
Dry mixture is poured into clean water at the rate of 190-200 ml of water per 1 kg of dry mixture (4.75-5 liters of water per 25 kg bag). Mix the mortar thoroughly with water until a uniform mass is obtained. Keep for 5 minutes and mix again. The mortar is in working order for 3-4 hours. At the mass thickening in the reservoir “revive” it by mixing without addition of water.
MORTAR APPLICATION
The mortar is applied to the surface with a layer of at least 2 mm thick using a wide steel putty spattle. After that the surface of the decorative plaster layer is leveled and smoothed using a plastic float or a steel floater. Optimal results are obtained when organizing a uniform work process without interruptions. If it is necessary to take a break in work, glue a wide painter's tape on the edges of the site, which is removed from the surface immediately after the plaster applying, forming a clear and clean border of the decorative layer. It is necessary to expose the joints of sections to the most detailed structure treatment.
During the plaster applying it is necessary to protect the facade from direct sunlight, rain and strong wind. It is recommended to paint the dried and hardened decorative layer with a paint of the appropriate purpose and/or apply a layer of water-repellent primer GLIMS FobosГрунт.
CONSUMPTION: 3.0-3.5 kg / m2 with a layer thickness of 2 mm
