An adhesive for mounting of marble, large-format natural and artificial stones, porcelain gres and brick tiles, mosaics and agglomerate tiles without use of special mount attachment.
- Allows to lay tiles "from top downward"
- Is perfect for marble laying
- Tile alignment time is more than 25 minutes
- Water-resistant, thermoresistant, frost-resistant
- Laying tile on tile without adhesive ground coats
- Resistant to temperature changes on the facades
- cost-efficient
- Complies with European standards EN 12004 Class С2ТE
- Does not require the plasticizers addition
APPLICATION
For laying of large format slabs made of ceramic and porcelain gres; glass, stone and ceramic mosaics; natural and artificial stone, including marble; brick tiles and decorative bricks on the following surfaces: site concrete; concrete blocks, LECA blocks, breeze blocks and cinder blocks; silicate and gypsum plaster slabs; cement screed, cement plaster, cement-lime and gypsum plaster; gypsum boards, gypsum plasterboards, asbestos-cement electrotechnical boards, cement-shaving slabs; old ceramic tiles tightly connected to the lower stratum; surfaces coated with cement or plastic sheeting underlay. It is recommended to use GLIMS® GreenResin multipurpose elastic sealant as a primer for facing of wooden, plywood, metal or plastic surfaces. It is used for interior and facade work, including for finishing terraces, exterior stairs, pools, impoundments, fountains, heated floors.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The lower stratum surface must be durable, free from dust, dirt, paint and grease stains. Treat the cleared surface with GLIMS® PrimeГрунт. Treat wood, plywood, metal and plastic with GLIMS® GreenResin sealant. Vertical surfaces with irregularities starting from 5 mm are recommended to be preliminarily (at least 24 hours earlier) leveled using the leveling stopping fillers GLIMS® StyroПрайм, GLIMS®Stukko-RF or GLIMS®Tweed plaster (minimum layer thickness is 10 mm). Horizontal surfaces with irregularities of 5 mm or more are recommended to be preliminarily (at least 24 hours earlier) leveled with GLIMS®S-Base, GLIMS®S-Level poured floors or with GLIMS®CF-40, GLIMS®CF-10 floors on cement binder. At material application and solidification the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment must not be from +5 to + 30°C.
MORTAR PREPARATION
Pour the dry mixture into clean water. The mortar is in working order for 4 hours after mixing. At the mortar thickening in the reservoir “revive” it by mixing without addition of water.
TECHNOLOGY OF WORK EXECUTION
If it is necessary to create a waterproofing layer, before applying the adhesive, preliminarily but no less than 24 hours earlier treat the lower stratum with GLIMS® GreenResin or GLIMS® ВодоStop water isolation materials. The contact adhesive layer is applied by the smooth side of the putty spattle and leveled with a notched trowel. Within 25 minutes after applying the adhesive, gently press the tile. Fixing of most types of tiles occurs instantly; on vertical surfaces heavy tiles must be held for several seconds. Correct the position of the tile on the surface is possible within 25 minutes after gluing. It is possible to walk over glued tiles after 24 hours. For tile joints grouting it is recommended to use GLIMS® Fuga waterproof grout but not earlier than after 24 hours. The material is environmentally friendly in use and operation. Operation temperature range is from -50 to +70 ° С. While working it is necessary to observe the norms of SNiP and industrial hygiene.
