For effective waterproofing of walls, floors, ceilings, as well as foundations, underground floors, pools, etc. Perfectly suits for coating formation of flat and inclined roofs.
- does not contain organic solvents
- possesses high adhesion to any types of mineral lower stratums, including bituminous materials
- makes it possible to work at temperatures from +5 to + 35˚С
- high strength, elasticity, weather resistance (resistance to UV radiation and ozone oxidation), good soil-repellency properties
- the glass transition temperature is -40 ° C, so the movement of the roof or panels fragments in freezing weather does not result in the destruction of the material
- optional use of fiberglass mesh improves membrane strength
LOWER STRATUM PREPARATION
Clean the surface from dust, oil, and also from other water repellent materials. Loose layers are recommended to be removed from the lower stratum surface. To prevent the formation of defects such as pin holes abundantly wet highly absorbent lower stratums with water; apply GreyResin on a wet lower stratum in a very thin (not more than 0.1-0.15 kg/ m²) ground coat. After complete drying out, apply the subsequent layers.
TECHNOLOGY OF WORK EXECUTION
It is applied to the surface with a brush, putty spattle or roller in at least 2 layers. Each subsequent layer is applied only after the complete drying out of the previous one (several thin layers dry faster than one thick one). At a temperature of + 20 ... + 25˚С and a relative humidity of 50-60% one layer drying time is 2-4 hours, at low temperatures and high humidity the period increases. For places requiring increased strength (interpanel joints, joints treated with assembly foam, flexible metal roofing, slate roofing, tile roofing, etc.) and for enhancement of the lower stratum mechanical properties it is recommended to use fibreglass meshes or glass fibre cloth. Roof coating arrangement on a flat concrete surface also requires reinforcement. Lay out a 2 × 2 mm glass cloth painter’s mesh on the surface and apply the material layer of at least 0.5 kg/m² so that it covers the lower stratum guaranteedly. Apply the next layer after drying out of the first one. When using the glass fibre cloth (preferably with a density of 100-150 g/m²), apply a GreyResin layer of at least 0.3 kg/m² on the surface, put the glass fibre cloth on the wet layer of material and immediately apply another GreyResin layer of 0.5-0,7 kg/m² on it, sinking the glass fibre cloth in the polymer composition. The coating gains all the properties only after its complete drying out. For the drying period it is necessary to avoid exposure to water and to protect the non-dried material layer from physical impact. Cement and organic adhesions are firmly glued to the surface of the material, cement plasters, stopping fillers, paints are fixed. After use cover the waterproofing material remaining in the packaging with polyethylene film and store under a tightly closed lid.
When applying and hardening the finishing mortar the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment should not be lower than +5 ° C. Operation temperature range is from -50 to +70 ° С. While working it is necessary to observe the norms of SNiP and industrial hygiene.
