- Allows to lay tiles "from top downward"
- Water-resistant, frost-resistant
- Laying "tile-on-tile" is possible
- Does not require the plasticizers addition
- Resistant to temperature changes on the facades
- Complies with European standards EN 12004 Class С2Т
SURFACE PREPARATION
The lower stratum surface must be dry, durable, free from dust, dirt, paint and grease stains. Treat the cleared surface with a primer GLIMS®PrimeГрунт by means of a brush or the roller. If the gypsum plaster is used as a lower stratum, it is recommended to treat the surface with primer twice and wait for complete drying out. Vertical surfaces with irregularities starting from 5 mm are recommended to be preliminarily (at least 24 hours earlier) leveled using the leveling stopping fillers GLIMS® StyroПрайм, GLIMS®Stukko-RF or GLIMS®Tweed plaster (minimum layer thickness is 10 mm). Horizontal surfaces with irregularities of 5 mm or more are recommended to be preliminarily (at least 24 hours in earlier) leveled with poured floors depending on conditions: GLIMS®S-Base+, GLIMS®S-Level, GLIMS®CF-10, GLIMS®CF-40. When laying on the surface of heated floors, the under floor heating system must be turned off 24 hours before the work execution start. At material application and solidification the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment must not be from +5 to + 30°C.
MORTAR PREPARATION
Pour the dry mix into a reservoir with clean water at a rate of 0.21-0,24 l of water per 1 kg of dry mix (5,25 - 6 l per bag of 25 kg) and mix thoroughly with a mixer machine to even consistency without fisheyes. Keep the mortar for 10 minutes and mix it once more. The mortar is in working order for 4 hours after mixing. If during this time the mortar thickens in the reservoir, it is necessary to “revive” it by mixing without adding of water.
TECHNOLOGY OF WORK EXECUTION
Apply the mortar to the surface in a uniform layer of 6-8 mm and "comb" with a notched trowel having the tooth size of 6-8 mm. The tile is put to place and gently pressed into the adhesive. It is possible to correct the position of the tile for 10 minutes. Determine the adhesive application area basing on the possibility of tiles laying on it during 10 minutes. It is not necessary to wet the tile with water before laying. Joints grouting should be performed no earlier than after 24 hours. For tile joints grouting it is recommended to use GLIMS® Fuga waterproof grout.
CONSUMPTION
1.4 kg of dry mix per 1 m2 with a layer thickness of 1 mm.
PACKAGING
kraft paper bags 25 kg, plastic bags 5 kg.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
During transportation and storage, bags with dry mortar should be protected from damage and soaking. The storage period is 12 months. The material is environmentally friendly in use and operation. Operation temperature range is from -50 to +70 ° С. While working it is necessary to observe the norms of SNiP and industrial hygiene.
