An adhesive for mounting of ceramic tiles with the size up to 40 * 40 cm and porcelain gres with the size up to 33 * 33 on horizontal and vertical surfaces at external and internal works
ADVANTAGES
- Possibility to level the lower stratum and lay tiles simultaneously
- Does not require lower stratum leveling
- Possibility to correct tiles on the lower stratum during 20 minutes
- The material is environmentally friendly, does not contain asbestos fibres
- Complies with European standards EN 12004 Class С1
SURFACE PREPARATION
It is applied on concrete, brick, gypsum and cement plasters, gypsum boards, moisture-resistant gypsum boards, gypsum plasterboards. The lower stratum surface must be dry, durable, free from dust, dirt, paint and grease stains. Treat the cleared surface with a primer GLIMS®PrimeГрунт by means of a brush or the roller. If the gypsum plaster is used as a lower stratum, treat the surface with GLIMS® Prime Primer twice and wait for complete drying out. Vertical surfaces with considerable irregularities are recommended to be preliminarily (at least 24 hours earlier) leveled using GLIMS®TS-70, GLIMS®Satin or GLIMS®VeluR plasters. Horizontal surfaces with irregularities of 30 mm or more are recommended to be preliminarily (at least 24 hours in earlier) leveled with GLIMS gypsum or cement poured floors. At material application and solidification the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment must not be from +5 to + 30 ° C.
MORTAR PREPARATION
Pour the dry mix into a reservoir with clean water at a rate of 0.2-0.23 l of water per 1 kg of dry mix (5,0-5,75 l per bag of 25 kg) and mix thoroughly with a mixer machine to even consistency. Keep the mortar for 10 minutes and mix it once more. The mortar is in working order for 4 hours after mixing. If during this time the mortar thickens in the reservoir, it is necessary to “revive” it by mixing without adding of water.
TECHNOLOGY OF WORK EXECUTION
Apply the mortar to the surface in a uniform layer of 6-8 mm and "comb" with a notched trowel (tooth size is 6-8 mm). The tile is put to place and gently pressed into the adhesive. It is possible to correct the position of the tile for next 20 minutes. Determine the adhesive application area basing on the possibility of tiles laying on it during 20 minutes. It is not necessary to wet the tile with water before laying. Joints grouting should be performed no earlier than after 24 hours. For tile joints grouting it is recommended to use GLIMS® Fuga waterproof grout.
CONSUMPTION
1.4 kg of dry mix per 1 m2 with a layer thickness of 1 mm.
PACKAGING
kraft paper bags 25 kg (net).
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
