Non-shrink composition on small-grained gritter of thixotropic type containing polymer fibre. It is recommended for repair of damages with depth from 20 to 40 mm on vertical, inclined and horizontal (including ceiling) surfaces.
APPLICATION DOMAIN
Civil construction:
- repair of steps and stair flights;
- repairing of hand railings mounting and their joint grouting;
- repair of voids and caverns in concrete, stone, brick walls;
- concrete and stone surfaces plastering;
- waterproofing in premises with high humidity (three-dimensional utility blocks, pools, underground floors);
- elimination of defects in shaped concrete articles;
- repair of access trestles;
- repair of rustication joints, flooring joists, tie beams and floor slab panels;
- joint and cracks packing with an opening width of more than 5 mm.
Industrial construction:
- repair of road and bridges pavement, airport runways, decks, concrete surfacing of parking areas, etc., - in any climatic conditions and taking into account high mechanical loads;
- repair of industrial floorings, equipment foundations - in premises and in open areas stressing high mechanical loads and exposed to aggressive environments (mineral oils, greases, etc.);
- repair of concrete and reinforced concrete structures that are operated in sea and fresh water conditions;
- repair of reinforced concrete supports exposed to high permanent and dynamic loads;
- protection of concrete from aggressive waters containing sulfates, sulfides, chlorides, thawing chemicals;
- joint grouting, rigid connection of precast structures;
- cracked rock grouting;
- repair of flue-pipes, chimney coolers and smoke flues;
- consolidation of the bases and foundations.
It is applied to concrete lower stratum from the surface of which previously it is necessary to remove cement slurry, loose coating, the remains of old coatings, paints, etc. To perform these works, the use of a milling machine is recommended. Before the mortar mix applying to the surface to be repaired, it is necessary to eliminate active leakages using the rapid-hardening, expanding GLIMS®ГидроПломба repair composition. If the reinforcement is open and has instances of corrosion, it must be cleaned of rust and dirt, and then treated with a corrosion-preventive compound. Before the repair mortar applying, the surface of the lower stratum must be supplied with clean water up to a full saturation level. Thickness of application in one layer is from 20 to 40 mm. If the depth of the repaired area exceeds 40 mm, then the application work must be performed in two stages, at this fasten the metal mesh before the first layer applying, leaving a space between the mesh and the surface of at least 10 mm. If the lower stratum is not strong enough, after the reinforcement mounting it is necessary to treat the repaired area with Glims®PrimeГрунт. When material applying and hardening the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment should not be lower than +5 ° C. For more information refer to the coating laying flow diagram.
MORTAR PREPARATION
Pour the package contents into a reservoir with clean water at a rate of 0.17-0.19 l of water per 1 kg of dry mix (4,25-4,75 l per bag of 25 kg) and mix thoroughly with a mixer machine to even consistency. Keep the mortar for 2-3 minutes and then mix it once more.
TECHNOLOGY OF WORK EXECUTION
The ready for use mortar mix should be applied using special equipment (for example, for air placing) or manually. Finishing and imparting the required profile to the applied mortar mix is executed by the floater immediately after the mortar mix placing. To ensure optimal applied mortar mix solidification conditions it is necessary to protect its top layer from water evaporation using a polymer film or to moisten the surface with finely sprayed cold water for 24 hours (48 hours in hot and windy weather). Solidification time and subsequent finishing to a greater extent are dependent on environmental conditions. Operation temperature range is from -50 to +70 ° С. While working it is necessary to observe the norms of SNiP and industrial hygiene. The material is environmentally friendly in use and operation.
CONSUMPTION:
1,75 kg per 1 m3 with a layer thickness of 1 mm.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
During transportation and storage, bags with dry mortar should be protected from damage and soaking. The storage period is 12 months. Complies with GOST R 56378-2015 (class R3)
