LOWER STRATUM PREPARATION
Highly elastic (144%) waterproof tape with a substrate made of polyester mesh, together with waterproof mortar GLIMS®ВодоStop or GLIMS®GreenResin, makes it possible to reliably, simply and quickly perform waterproofing of such critical places as “wall-to-floor” or “wall-to-wall” joints in shower rooms, bathrooms and pools, as well as waterproofing of precast panels joints in wells, tanks and foundations. The surface should be smooth, free from dust, dirt, oils, grease. Thoroughly clean the surface of loose and shattered particles using brushes, sanding machines or sandblast finish.
TECHNOLOGY OF WORK EXECUTION
Apply waterproof mortar GLIMS® ВодоStopor GLIMS® GreenResin to the surface. Without waiting for the mortar drying-out, place the tape with the polyester mesh substrate down so that it completely covers the joint (hairline joint). Slightly press the tape to the surface with a mortar applicator, putty spittle or painter's brush. Gently press the tape to the mortar layer so that there are no air voids and bubbles between the tape and the mortar. When working with a metal or sharp-edged tool be careful not to damage the tape. After the mortar drying-out, for the ultimate waterproof tape fixing it is allowed to apply one more layer of GLIMS® ВодоStop or GLIMS® GreenResin to its upper part. When several segments are joined together, the tape strips are connected with an overlap of at least 5 cm. Further waterproofing should be carried out according to the instructions to the GLIMS® ВодоStop or GLIMS® GreenResin materials.
At material application and solidification the temperature of the lower stratum and the environment must not be lower than +5°C. The material is environmentally friendly in use and operation. Operation temperature range is from -30°С to + 90°С. While working it is necessary to observe the norms of SNiP and industrial hygiene. Warranty storage period: 24 months from the date of production.
